Since joining the Shift Health team as a Consultant in 2024, Zoya has contributed to a diverse range of projects spanning the health research and life sciences ecosystem, including healthcare strategy, competitive intelligence and capital acquisition. Zoya’s clients have included CancerCare Manitoba, GlaxoSmithKline and Gilead.

Prior to joining Shift Health, Zoya completed a Master of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at McMaster University, where she explored the utility of small molecules to augment cancer targeting engineered T cells. She is the author of 2 peer-reviewed publications, 1 book chapter and the recipient of numerous awards including the Canada Graduate Scholarship-Master Award from CIHR and Karl Freeman Award. Zoya has presented her work at multiple national and international conferences.
