To honour Women’s History Month in Canada we are spotlighting the incredible women at our office that are making their mark in the Canadian history of health sciences.
Dr. Anne Mullin
Dr. Anne Mullin has worked extensively with leading decision-makers around the world on significant strategic initiatives. She has supported the sustainability and success of numerous international product development consortia, allowed both industry and academic partners to manage the risk of high-impact clinical trials and helped clients from industry, academia and the not-for-profit sector attract capital, establish partnerships and set strategies that drive innovation. As a member of our Shift Health Executive and Leadership Teams, Anne helps shape and advance our firm’s corporate strategy.
We want our work to bring positive and lasting change and Anne has helped achieve that and more. Thank you for all your hard work, we’re so excited to see where you take us next.
Jamie Ching
Jamie Ching joined the Shift Health Team in 2020 and has since supported a wide breadth of projects for academia, industries and non-profits. These include developing strategic plans for research and commercialization activities, composing scientific communications and conducting landscape assessments and opportunity evaluations. She helps to lead Shift Health’s high school internship program in collaboration with Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. (VoSNL). VoSNL is a charitable organization that aims to advance the positive educational development of youth in low-income and marginalized communities through meaningful engagements in STEM fields and research.
Jamie’s commitment to health science is nothing short of inspiring, we look to her to realize what the future of our company could aspire to be. We are so grateful to have you on our team!
Taylor Yorke
Prior to joining Shift Health as an Administrative Assistant, Taylor worked as a freelance Social Media Manager and Administrative professional for many wellness and spots companies. Experiences include creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns and strategies, as well as assisting teams to excel with her creativity, organizational skills and effective communication.
As an Administrative Assistant at Shift Health, Taylor is responsible for supporting the Consulting and People & Operations teams with administrative project-related tasks. Taylor, we are so happy to have you as a new team member, thank you!
Suzette Wright
In 2018 Suzette started a consulting practice to provide Data Mining and Advanced Analytics services, which later expanded to include the provision of managed services and training for demand services. Prior to working at Shift Health as the Operations Lead, Suzette was the head of a Group Enterprise Information Management (EIM) at Digicel Group, where she led the technical design & development of a Big Data ecosystem for the major telecommunications company. As the Operations Lead at Shift Health, Suzette is responsible for helping the organization identify and confirm the appropriate systems, procedures and methodologies to redefine the organization’s Project Management Capability while using data to further drive growth and innovation.
Suzette is also a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group where she takes an active role in building an inclusive community here at Shift Health to discuss and create awareness around issues women face in the workplace. Thank you, Suzette, for your commitment, hard work and dedication. We are looking forward to many more years of working with you!
Dr. Tatianna Wai Ying Wong
Prior to joining Shift Health in 2022 as a Consultant, Dr. Tatianna Wai Ying Wong worked as a Business Development Analyst at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she managed a portfolio of 30 technologies, advising researchers in intellectual property development and protection to maximize commercial value.
Now at Shift Health, she is a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group where she takes an active role in building an inclusive community to discuss and create awareness around issues women face in the workplace. Tatianna is also a member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee at Shift Health, working to integrate IDEA principles at the firm. We’re happy to have another talented and committed team member in Shift Health, thank you Tatianna!
Soo-Jin An
Soo-Jin An is supporting us with exceptional organizational skills, a discerning visual eye and communication directly with the president and the consulting team. She helps them organize calendars, travel and events. In addition, she also oversees the management of the office. As a member of several internal committees, Soo-Jin An is the steady foundation that brings lasting success to our work.
Soo-Jin An is a member of the Space Planning and Reopening Committee at Shift Health. The committee undertook a major office renovation plan where the aim was to create a space that inspires the team, welcomes diversity, and uplifts the voices, experiences and ideas of individuals, communities and populations who have not historically been at the forefront of the healthcare conversation. The renovated space is complete and truly reflects the innovative nature of Shift Health. Thank you Soo-Jin An, we appreciate your dedication and valuable guidance for the future of our teams!
Dr. Elisa Porfilio
Before joining Shift Health as an Engagement Leader, Elisa worked as a Manager at KPMG’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice. Her consulting experience has been in both healthcare and the public sector where she specialized in clinical operational flow, designing fit-for-purpose programs and executing their implementation on a grand scale. Her experience includes developing strategies and clinical services plans for hospitals, government program reviews and cost-benefit analyses, COVID-19 response planning, rapid testing implementation, lean management implementation in healthcare settings, operational improvements and more.
Elisa is a member of the Management Team, which identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and the professional growth of our team across our project portfolio. Thank you, Elisa, for being part of the Shift Health team, we are grateful to have you here with us!
Sydney da Cunha
Prior to interning at Shift Health, Sydney da Cunha has worked with various companies that do extensive work within the life sciences sector. With a Master of Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization at McMaster University, it provided her with practical experience in biomedical entrepreneurship and commercialization. With a passion for health innovation and social entrepreneurship she supports our team exceptionally.

Maame Panyin Darkwa
Since Maame Panyin Darkwa joined our team in 2021, she has been a key part of multiple high-impact projects for clients across the health research and innovation ecosystem. Maame embraces opportunities to tackle the unique challenges of each new project and is singular at leveraging her science mindset to uncover critical data and deliver meaningful insights to clients.
She is also a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group at Shift Health, where she takes an active role in building an inclusive community to discuss and create awareness around issues women face in the workplace.
Maame is at the forefront of our efforts in health science and approaches all challenges with calculated strategies that help us not only achieve but exceed expectations. Thank you for your unwavering motivation and encouragement!
Dr. Meghan Wright
Since joining the Shift Health team in 2019, Dr. Meghan Wright has worked on projects spanning the health research and innovation ecosystem. She has contributed to assessments of the market demand for potential biopharma products, academic research program development, and health policy analysis and communication. She also was a scientific consultant at a biotech investment firm and completed an internship at a medical device start-up.
Meghan helps lead an internship program at Shift Health in partnership with the Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. (VoSNL), a charitable organization that aims to advance the positive educational development of youth in low-income and marginalized communities through STEM fields. Meghan is also Chair of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee at Shift Health working to embed IDEA initiatives at the company.

Vivien Wong
Since joining the company in 2004, Vivien Wong has leveraged her agility and passion to provide administrative and logistical support to the chairman and consulting team. Vivien has extensive experience with recruiting and brings knowledge about the recruiting process to Shift Health.

Dr. Natasha Malik
Since joining the Shift Heath Team in 2015, Dr. Natasha Malik has supported various projects, including creating strategies to guide research investment and activities, developing access strategies for multinational companies and international consortia and assessing the performance and impact of public and private sector organizations. Natasha is a member of the Management Team which ensures that team members are receiving the coaching, feedback, and professional development/training opportunities they require. Natasha is also a member of the Green Team, which is focusing its attention on helping Shift Health minimize its impact on the climate crisis.

Dr. Nicole Revie
Since joining the Shift Health team in 2021, Dr. Nicole Revie has contributed to a diverse set of projects spanning wide-reaching sectors of the health research and innovation ecosystem. These include developing strategic plans for health research and policy activities and conducting landscape assessments and opportunity evaluations for biopharma products. She is also a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group which is helping the Shift Health team in building an inclusive community to discuss and create awareness around issues women face in the workplace.

Dr. Helen Luck
Dr. Helen Luck joined our team in 2019 and has led the development of research, innovation and product strategies across diverse organizations within the health research and innovation ecosystem in Canada and globally.
Helen is also the Chair of the Space Planning and Reopening Committee at Shift Health where she helped design a space that inspires innovation, collaboration and connection among our team—especially in a hybrid setting. She is also a member the Digital Marketing Committee where she is an integral part of leading the digital and social marketing initiatives in our organization.
Helen’s determination to deliver high-quality outputs that achieve a sustainable reality for our clients is what drives all of us here to continuously bring our best selves to making a lasting, positive impact. We are incredibly proud to have you on our team!
Dr. Michelle Ly
Before joining Shift Health in 2022, Dr. Michelle Ly had experience in supporting client engagements within economic development, strategy and operations and healthcare policies. At Shift Health, Michelle has worked on a number of client engagements to support strategic planning, competitive intelligence and the Personalized Healthcare Collaboration In her graduate career, Michelle has authored 5 publications and has been a recipient of numerous awards including the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and SickKids Restracomp.
Michelle is a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group which helps to build an inclusive community to discuss and create awareness around issues women face in the workplace. Michelle is also a mentor for an internship program at Shift Health in partnership with the Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. (VoSNL), a charitable organization that aims to advance the positive educational development of youth in low-income and marginalized communities through STEM fields.
