Dr. Helen Luck joined our team in 2019 and has worked with multiple organizations across diverse sectors to develop innovation and policy strategies, evaluate the progress and impact of organizations and conduct landscape assessments. Helen’s notable clients have included the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance/Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, Roche, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the US Military HIV Research Program.
Helen earned a PhD in Immunology at the University of Toronto, specializing in the role of gut microbiota and the immune system in obesity and Type 2 diabetes. She is the author of 11 peer-reviewed publications, 1 book chapter and 1 patent, and was the recipient of a number of prestigious scholarships during her academic tenure, including the Canada Graduate Scholarship Doctoral Award, Banting & Best Diabetes Centre-University Health Network Graduate Award, and Richard Miller Award.
