Saujanya earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cancer Biology from the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research, and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), India, studying human serine proteases in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University, she researched rare genetic disorders, including Cystic Fibrosis and Batten’s Disease.
She joined Shift Health as a Consultant in 2024. Saujanya also volunteers with pro-bono nonprofit consulting and reviews for Biochemistry and Biophysics Reports. She has earned the CSIR-NET (National Eligibility Test) Lectureship qualification in India and multiple travel awards, including one from CIHR-ICRH (Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health).
