Spearheading a Canadian Coalition to Eliminate The Threat of Drug-Resistant Infections
McMaster University sought to establish a Canadian network focused on advancing innovative solutions to drug-resistant infections.
Shift Health facilitated an inclusive process to crystallize the vision for the network. We hosted working sessions and spoke with academic leaders, key stakeholders and partners to define and build consensus around the network’s mandate, goals and envisioned outputs. Based on this vision, Shift Health crafted a compelling stakeholder engagement plan to energize partners and public/private funders, and developed a five-year action plan to establish the Network and realize this opportunity.
Our plan resonated with key national partners in the network and was used to secure an initial $7M from a private philanthropist to advance this initiative.
